Although born in Lexington, Kentucky, Erin Rickelton has lived in Nashville, Tennessee most of her life. She attended David Lipscomb University and graduated in 1999 with a BA in Studio Art and a minor in German. In the Fall of 1999, she began teaching Art at David Lipscomb High School. Her classes consist of: Art I, Art II, painting, photography, and yearbook.
Erin is married to Patrick Rickelton who teaches German in the Williamson County School system. Through travel, art, language, music, food, festivals, and movies, Erin and Patrick enjoy learning and discovering other cultures from around the world. In fact, studying a semester abroad through Lipscomb in Vienna, introduced Erin and Patrick.
In her spare time, Erin works with the Youth Encouragment Services tutoring and teaching Art classes. She enjoys Art of all kinds and is a commissioned portrait artist in oils, charcoal, and pencil.
